On the basis of the pictures you can see a stick of tooth or cement on the metal. These, of course, have an influence on the weight and must be cleaned before the melt, since otherwise the melting result is contaminated. On the other hand, clean dental material is free of tooth and adhesive, as shown in Figure 2.
Only alloys containing precious metals and recycled are recycled. These include gold, palladium, platinum and silver. Chromium-cobalt alloys are not precious metals and are not tempered.

An alloy is a composite of different metals, to give a substance certain property. The maincomponents by dental alloy are gold (Au), palladium (Pd), silver (Ag) andchrome-cobald (Co). In a lower mix there are substances like platinum and iron in an alloy. In that case you can not calculate a gold teeth which weights 3 grams as finegold like a piece of jewelry.
